Spooky Cream Cheese Mummy Bagels

How great do these mummy bagels look for Halloween! You can use candy eyes for these or just put some blueberries or chocolate chips on top!

Recipe for Spooky Cream Cheese Mummy Bagels:

Ingredients Needed:

1 bagel sliced in 1/2 and toasted if you wish

2-4 tablespoons cream cheese

Candy eyes or other food to use for eyes (blueberries, chocolate chips, raisins)

Servings Made: 1 bagel

Time to Prep: 5 minutes

Time to Make: 5 minutes

How to Make:

Toast bagel, and allow to cool for a few minutes. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on bagel. Next, place a few tablespoons of cream cheese in a piping bag or a zipper-top bag with the bottom corner cut off. Make lines all over the bagel in varying directions to resemble mummy bandages. Use the edge of a butter knife to gently make ridges in the bandages. There really is no correct way to do this. Just have fun! Top with eyes and serve.

Pro tip - don’t apply the cream cheese if the bagel is very hot. The cream cheese will melt and not retain its shape for the bandages. Wait a few minutes after toasting to slather!
