Crispy Air Fryer Broccoli

If you haven’t made broccoli in the air fryer, then you absolutely must. It takes less than 10 minutes and turns out so crispy. I personally love the crispy burnt bits!

Pro tip - you can use this same recipe and roast the broccoli in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer. See recipe below for details.

Recipe for Air Fryer Broccoli:
⁣⁣

Ingredients Needed:

  • 1 head of broccoli cut into bite sized florets

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (you can omit this and just use olive oil spray)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder or minced garlic

Servings Made: 3-4 servings

Time to Prep: 5 minutes

Time to Cook: 6-7 minutes

How to Make:

Cut broccoli into even sized portions and toss in olive oil and seasonings. Ensure each piece is coated evenly. Air fry at 400 °F for 6-7 minutes until broccoli is crispy to your liking. Toss pieces about 1/2 way through the cooking process.

If you are roasting these in the oven, place seasoned broccoli on a parchment lined baking tray in a single layer. Bake at 425°F for about 15-18 minutes making sure to toss them partway through cooking.

Pro tip - I find the best way to ensure even coating of the oil and seasoning is to use a large zipper top freezer bag. Place florets into bag along with the seasonings and shake well. This is also a great way to prep your veggies before hand.

Serve cooked broccoli right away to ensure maximum crisp!

Enjoy!
