My Mom’s Garam Masala Powder
This mixture is a staple spice blend in our home. My mom taught me how to make this fresh and I have never bought it from the store since. A little bit of elbow grease with a mortar and pestle, or you can use a small coffee bean grinder and you will have fresh, aromatic garam masala powder for your cooking.
You can use this in so many recipes - kebabs, mishkaki, samosas, curry and more (many of my recipes call for this ingredient).
