Chili Lime Salmon
This chili lime salmon recipe has a secret ingredient that gives this dish huge flavor! Madras curry powder is the secret and it is a must add here. Trust me and don’t omit it. It can be found in most grocery stores in the spice aisle or the international aisle. It will also come in handy if you make my coconut curry pasta.
This dish comes together fast and can be on the table in less than 30 minutes!
Pro tip - This marinade would be great on chicken or shrimp as well if you want to give it a try! It would also work on other types of fish too.
Recipe for Chili Lime Salmon:
Servings Made: 2 servings
Time to Prep: 15 - 30 minutes (includes marination time)
Time to Cook: 8-12 minutes
How to Make:
Marinate salmon covered in the fridge in all the ingredients for at least 15 mins and up to 30 mins. (I do this in a large zipper top bag to ensure the fish is fully coated).
Place filets onto a foil lined and greased baking tray and brush or drizzle with any extra marinade. Broil on high in the oven on the top rack or 2nd from the top rack in the oven for 8-12 mins depending on thickness of filet. Check with a meat thermometer for doneness.
Top with freshly squeezed lime before serving! Don’t omit this step as the lime really brings this dish to life!
Enjoy!
