Pickled Onions

I don’t know what I was doing before I made pickled onions! These come together so fast and add so much flavor to any dish. Very few ingredients needed and you can change up the vegetables and add cucumbers, radishes, tomatoes and some fresh cilantro to really up the flavor.

Use these pickled onions on top of salads, sandwiches, inside pitas and more!

Recipe for Pickled Onions:

Ingredients Needed:

1/2-1 red onion thinly sliced ⁣

Salt to taste ⁣

Cayenne powder to taste ⁣

Juice from 1-2 lemons ⁣

Splash of white vinegar ⁣(about 1 tablespoon or less)

Servings Made: 4-6 servings

Time to Prep: 10 minutes

Time to Cook: Inactive time at least 15 minutes

How to Make:⁣

Mix all the above ingredients and let sit for at least 15 mins. You can also add other veggies to this such as sliced cucumber, carrots and top with some cilantro!
