Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

We have this dish a lot in our house as it is so easy to prepare and makes for a great side to your dinner. I don’t even remove the skin when making these which definitely saves time.

I have to be honest, I prefer regular potato fries over sweet potato fries, but sometimes you just have to mix it up.

Serve these with your favorite dipping sauce…in our house it is always ketchup and hot sauce!

Recipe for Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries:

Ingredients Needed:

2-3 medium sweet potatoes sliced into thin sections

Olive oil spray

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional - parsley flakes or rosemary to taste

Servings Made: 3-4 servings

Time to Prep: 5 minutes

Time to Cook: 20 minutes

How to Make:

Toss cut potatoes in olive oil and spices. Place into a greased air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd basket or they will not cook evenly.

Cook for 15-20 minutes at 400°F making sure to flip the sections halfway and spray tops with olive oil spray to ensure maximum crisp.

Remove from air fryer when done and serve immediately.

Pro tip - Make sure to cut up your sweet potato into even sections (not too thick). If they are not similar sizes, they will not cook evenly.

Bonus pro tip - If you get sidetracked/pulled away before you can throw these in the air fryer, place the cut sections in a bowl of cold water to avoid them turning brown. Just be sure to drain water and pat sections very dry before tossing in oil and seasoning.

Enjoy!
