Fresh Fruit Rainbow
Let’s create a fruit rainbow together! You can have so much fun with this one. Change up the fruits, add some candy or chocolate decor. You could even place some small bowls of dip beside this rainbow such as chocolate sauce, yogurt or whipped cream with some toothpicks for dipping the fruit in.
I don’t have a fondue set or dipping chocolate fountain but how nice would this plate of fruit be to go with that?
Pro tip - you can make this rainbow plate with vegetables or crackers as well!
Recipe for Fruit Rainbow:
Ingredients Needed:
A variety of fresh fruits. Any will do, just ensure they are cut up into your desired size and shape.
Pick fruits that follow the colors of the rainbow (Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple).
Something white for the clouds - marshmallows, white chocolate chips, lychees, bowls of dip…
Other toppings/sides if desired - ice cream, chocolate chips, icing sugar, chocolate sauce for dipping, toothpicks etc.
Festive idea - place some gold coins on your serving trays for St. Patrick’s Day!
Servings Made: Varies depending on how much fruit you use.
Time to Prep: 10 -15 minutes
Time to Cook: N/A
How to Make:
Wash and dry your fruit before slicing up into your desired shape and size.
Arrange fruit on serving dish or tray in rainbow shape. I found placing the red fruit first to be the easiest. There is really no right or wrong way to do this! Just have fun :) Finish off with something white for the clouds.
Enjoy!
