Sherbat (Celebratory Sweet Milk Drink)
Creamy, delicious and the dreamiest color of pink. Sherbat is something that I grew up drinking at celebrations such as weddings, engagements, religious festivals and more. It is made up of a few types of milk and of course..ice cream! I have been known to put down 8-10 glasses at one time. Not joking. Don’t tell my husband, but I think I was most excited about the copious amounts of sherbat I would be consuming at our wedding more than the actual event ;)
My kids call this drink “Pink Milk” which is pretty much what it is. This is best served ice cold, but I have had it frozen before and that is yum also!
In my opinion, the chopped nuts on top are not optional (this is a long time debate among sherbat drinkers), but either way, this drink is a little bit of heaven.

1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Red food color (about 3-5 drops)

Rose essence drops
Ground/thinly chopped almonds and pistachios
Chia seeds or sweet basil seed soaked
Servings Made: Makes approximately 1 liter of sherbat
Time to Prep: 10 minutes
Time to Cook: Inactive time in fridge until ice cream melts
How to Make:

Enjoy!
